EVIA 2010 important dates etc.

More updates on EVIA 2010 and AIRS 2010.

EVIA 2010 important dates:
- March 31, submissions due
- April 1 papers assigned to reviewers
- April 16 reviews due
- April 18 acceptance notification
- April 30 final manuscripts due
- June 15 EVIA 2010

We are now forming a PC.
Though the review period is very short,
each submission will be carefully reviewed by
at least three PC members.
A preliminary CFP will be distributed soon.


AIRS 2010 (hosted by National Taiwan University, Taipei)
will probably take place in December 2010,
to avoid conflicts with other IR/NLP conferences.


A couple of NEW IR conferences:
CLEF is no longer just a "European TREC" - CLEF 2010 is a conference.
IRF is also launching a new conference.


So many conferences.
I hope there won't be a SIGIR workshop on evaluation this year.
